OUR SERVICES

Empowering Your Path to Well-Being
At AZ Holistic Approach, we believe real growth starts by meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we create practical, personalized steps toward meaningful and lasting change for a more fulfilling life.
What We
Offer
In-person and telehealth appointments available
Individual Therapy
We use a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach tailored to your unique needs. Along with psychotherapy and psychoeducation, we incorporate supportive practices like yoga and breathwork to create a truly holistic experience—addressing the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Children, Teens & Adult Therapy
Healing has no age limit. We serve clients ages 5 and up, thoughtfully adapting our approach for children, teens, adults, and seniors so every stage of life feels supported.
Physical, Nutritional, & Financial Wellness Education
Your mental health is deeply connected to your body, nutrition, and financial stressors. We take all of it into account, because true healing looks at the whole picture.
Couples/Family Therapy
Relationships can feel overwhelming at times. In couples and family counseling, we help you improve communication, rebuild intimacy, set healthy boundaries, and restore connection by understanding and reshaping the patterns that impact your family as a whole.
Yoga, Mindfulness, Breathwork Practices
We move beyond conversation alone. By integrating yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness into therapy when desired, we help you develop practical tools for grounding, emotional processing, and lasting regulation.
Medication Management Partnership
We believe medication can be helpful and sometimes necessary, but it’s not always the first step as many mental health symptoms can be treated in other ways. At AHA we support each client’s personal choice around medication and collaborate with holistic-minded psychiatric nurse practitioners when additional support is needed.
Begin your journey to lasting transformation through the powerful blend of science and holistic care.
OUR
EVIDENCE
BASED APPROACHES
*This is not an exhaustive list
(CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Considered to be the gold standard of therapy as it is one of the most evidence-based approaches. CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. It is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and by altering dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors, we can improve emotional well-being and cope better with challenges.
(DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Combines aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with principles of mindfulness and acceptance, emphasizing the balance between acceptance of one's current emotional state and the need for change.
(SFT) Solution Focused Therapy Goal-oriented, short-term therapeutic approach that focuses on finding solutions to current problems rather than analyzing the past or exploring the causes of the issues. The therapy is grounded in the belief that individuals have the resources and strengths within themselves to resolve their challenges, and that the therapist's role is to help clients identify and build on these strengths.
(EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy Based on the idea that disturbing memories and experiences can be "locked" in the brain in an unprocessed form, causing ongoing emotional and psychological symptoms. The therapy helps the brain reprocess these memories, reducing their emotional charge and enabling the individual to integrate them in a healthier way.
(MI) Motivational Interviewing Designed to help individuals resolve ambivalence and find their own motivation for making positive changes in their behaviors. MI is particularly effective for people facing behavior change challenges, such as addiction, chronic illness management, and other areas like weight loss, smoking cessation, or improving mental health.
